Jodhpur : Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a tag of kaidi no 106 as he was lodged in Ward number 2 of Jodhpur jail after he was sentenced to five years in prison in 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

The actor made no special demands as he spent a night in jail and ate dal, roti, cabbage and potatoes. He will be provided with jail uniform on Friday.

After conviction, Salman Khan was put to a medical test in which he was found in good health. He has also sought a bail plea that will be heard in Jodhpur sessions court on Friday.

The prosecution alleged that Salman and other Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam went hunting on the October 1-2 outside a forest reserve near Kankani village while shooting for film Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
