New Delhi : Blue Whale Challenge: A 22-year-old Indian youth was rescued from a deadly trap of the suicide game in Puducherry, he shared his “agonizing experience” while playing the game.

The victim has appealed that no one should play the game at any cost as it is a “virtual death trap”.

The victim has been identified as Alexander who was on the verge to reach the last stage of the game leading to committing suicide.

“It is a virtual death trap. You will go through an agonising experience. Even those who seek adventures will be mentally affected,” he warned.

He spoke about how he ended up playing the game for fun and then it turned out to be death trap.

The victim had received a link to play the game on WhatsApp group formed by his colleagues after which he started playing the game when he came to his hometown Neravy on leave.

“It is not an app or a game to be downloaded. It is just a link customised for individuals playing the game by the Blue Whale admin,” the victim was quoted by media.

In last couple of days, he was given tasks to perform almost daily at 2AM like watching horror movies, clicking photos and visiting a graveyard during midnight.

Post rescue and several counselling sessions, the victim seems to have recovered from the traumatic experience.
