Srinagar : 226 youth were inducted in Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) battalion on Friday. The passing out parade of the newly-inducted troops was held at the regimental centre, Srinagar.
JAK LI is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. Its regimental insignia consists of a pair of crossed rifles.
Most candidates in the regiment belong to the state Jammu and Kashmir itself.
