3 suspected cases of Monkey Pox in Ghaziabad and Noida

Noida : Health concern in Delhi-NCR over monkeypox cases is on rise as three suspected cases have been reported in Ghaziabad and Noida.

The symptoms of this disease are similar to small pox and may take 2-4 weeks to completely heal.

Last week, a confirmed case of monkey pox was detected in Delhi. The man has been isolated and admitted to Lok Nayak hospital. His direct contacts are also being traced.

The major concern is that he has no travel history.

The samples of suspected cases have been sent to labs and the results are awaited to get a confirmation on monkey pox.
