7th Pay Commission: Central employees' salary may increase in election time

New Delhi : The NDA government controlled by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi may give good news to central employees soon. In March, the government can implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.  In a recent meeting, the National Zoint Council of Action (NJCA) held in New Delhi, there was a proposal regarding the increase of the minimum grade pay of Central employees.

Conversely, various organizations of the central government are not aware of such a proposal. Currently, the minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18,000. Sources confirmed that the employees are demanding Rs 8, 000 more in this amount. If the government increases the minimum wage, then it is likely that will be increase from 2.57 times to 3.68 times.

Now, Lok Sabha election is coming soon and in this situation, Modi government will try to work on the decision. It is also being said that if the increase in the minimum wage of the Central employees does not increase, then their Deans Alliance (DA) will definitely be increased.

The Narendra Modi government has stepped in to provide travel related benefits to the central government employees. As of now, the employees will be able to avail air travel benefits including private companies to visit the home and other parts of the country ( Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman Nicobar islands) under LTC benefits. The information has been confirmed by the Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
