"A glorious century rest at her feet of God": PM Modi tweet on Heeraben Modi's death

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi has passed away at the age of 100. She was recently hospitalised at UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Confirming the news of the demise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "A glorious century rest at her feet of God." 

Prime Minister in Modi shared tweet do the picture of his mother. He wrote in the caption, "In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi was admitted to UN Mehta Hospital Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Prime Minister had also paid a visit to the hospital to meet his ailing mother where he had spent around one and a half hour.
