After 51 days of curfew, restrictions relaxed in Kashmir
Delhi : After 51 days of unrest in the Kashmir valley, the restrictions were relaxed, except in parts of Srinagar. Authorities took the decision on Sunday evening, following a high level meeting. The valley was facing unrest after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was gunned down by security forces.
71 people have lost their lives in the valley so far.

# All political party delegation led by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is slated to visit Kashmir on September 3.
# Separatists continued their protest shutdown even after the curfew has been lifted.
# A total of 71 people (68 civilians, 3 policemen) have been killed in the Kashmir violence.
# More than 11,000 people including civilians and security personnel were injured during the violence.
