Amid high security, a kite lands below Red Fort podium during PM’s speech

New Delhi : As Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the nation on the occasion of 71st Independence Day, a kite came floating and landed below his podium at Red Fort on Tuesday.

The kite landed quietly without causing any disturbance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his speech from the podium.

The incident happened when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in his last phase of the speech.

The city was put under an unprecedented ground-to-air security cover in view of the twin occasions of Independence Day and Janmashtami festival.
