Amit Shah to take holy dip in Kumbh Mela today

Prayagraj : Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah will be taking a holy dip at the confluence of river Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati in Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, he addressed masses in Gujarat to launch new slogan - "Mera Parivaar BJP Parivaar".

During his address he slammed opposition for collaborating to form grand alliance; he termed it as an "uneven mismatch" and dared them to reveal the name of their leader.

"Opposition parties are trying to forge an uneven alliance. I demand the parties of a grand alliance to make it clear as to who their leader is? Who is going to be their candidate for top post? We are clear about the world’s most admired leader Narendra Modi being our leader," Shah said.

The 55-day long Kumbh Mela will end on March 4. It is the largest human congregation in the world, with over 130 million pilgrims expected to participate in the festival with the belief that taking a dip in the holy water of Ganges River will pave the way for their salvation and would rid them of their sins.
