Anti-CAA protest: Curfew lifted from Guwahati, internet services resumed
New Delhi : Curfew has been lifted from the Assam's Guwahati district on Tuesday; internet services have also been resumed in the area that has been reeling under massive protests over the Citizenship Bill.
The administration in Dibrugarh also relaxed the curfew in districts from 6am to 8pm, said a news agency ANI.

The decision to lift the curfew was taken after the state administration after reviewin the situation in the state.
"The meeting decided to lift curfew completely in Guwahati from 6 am tomorrow. The meeting also decided to resume operation of broadband internet services in entire state from tomorrow morning," said a statement issued by the CMO.
A curfew was imposed in Guwahati after reports of violent protests came soon after the passage of Citizenship Bill.
