New Delhi : Miram Taron, 17-year-old Arunachal Pradesh teen, who was allegedly abducted by China's People's  Liberation Army, was tortured during the custody of Chinese Army. According to his father, he was tied up, kicked and given electric shocks while in custody. 

Miram's father told reporters, "His son is still in shock, he was kicked and was given mild electric shocks initially by the Chinese Army. But they provided him adequate food to stay alive."

Two weeks after he went missing, Miram was united with his family in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district.

On January 27, Kiren Rijiju had notified that the teen has been rescued and is now under Indian Army's custody. He has spoken to his family.
