Attack on CRPF team "cowardly and deplorable": PM Narendra Modi
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday termed Maoist attack on CRPF team as "cowardly and deplorable"; 24 CRPF jawans were killed in the attack.

"We are proud of the valour of our CRPF personnel. The sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain," Modi tweeted.
"Condolences to their families. May those injured in (the) attack recover at the earliest."
Mr Prime Minister also mentioned that the government is closely monitoring the situation in Chhattisgarh.
