BJP National Vice President Mukul Roy to return to TMC
The final decision on his return to TMC will be taken after a meeting of top brasses in Kolkata, said news agency ANI.
Mukul Roy is among the leaders who have contributed enough in the formation of TMC. He had a fallout with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after he was named in the Narada sting operation case back in 2017.
He was suspended for six years for 'anti-party' activities; later he left the party and joined hands with BJP.
Subhranshu Roy, Mukul's son, also followed in his father's footsteps and joined the party in 2019. In September 2020, Mukul Roy was made the national vice-president of the BJP.
