CBSE class 12th exam results out now; click to check your score

New Delhi : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exam results have been declared on Saturday; once again girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.58 per cent.

Boys recorded a pass percentage of 78.85 per cent.

Region-wise South India turned out to be a winner. Thiruvanathapuram region scored at 97.61 per cent being the highest followed by Chennai which has a pass percentage of 92.63.

In a statement released here, the CBSE said that for the second consecutive year, CBSE has declared results of all ten regions on the same day.

The duration of examination was from March 1 to April 26 2016.

The results for all the regions were declared on the official websites - www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

In a new attempt, CBSE will also provide Class 12th digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in.

Students will be provided with their DigiLocker credentials via SMS on their registered mobile number with CBSE.
