P Chidambaram dares PM Narendra Modi to speak over Rafale deal
New Delhi : Reacting sharply on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement asking Congress to name a Prime Minister candidate outside Nehru family, P Chidambaram named 15 Congress chief outside Nehru family and dared him to now speak over controversial Rafale fighter jets deal with France.
In a tweet, former finance minister also dared PM to speak over unemployment and suicide of farmers during his rule.
"To jog PM Modi's memory: among the Congress Presidents since 1947 were Acharya Kripalani, Pattabhi Sitaramayya, Purushottamdas Tandon, U N Dhebar, Sanjiva Reddy, Sanjivaiah, Kamaraj, Nijalingappa, C Subramanian, Jagjivan Ram, Shankar Dayal Sharma, D K Barooah, Brahmananda Reddy, P V Narasimha Rao and Sitaram Kesri (sic)," he said.
