Mumbai : Real life heroes do not need an outfit to show their braveness. A Railway Protection Force (RPF) K Shivaji is one of the real heroes from India. Risking his life, the constable jumped out of a moving train to get into an adjacent compartment and rescue a woman from a 26-year-old man who was trying to rape her on Monday night.

K. Shivaji heard screams of a woman who was in the adjacent compartment when the train left the Chintadripet station. He could not enter that compartment as it was not vestibular.

As the train arrived at the Park station, he jumped out and entered the adjacent compartment. Soon after entering the compartment, he pushed the man and rescued lady.

The 25-year-old woman was sent to a hospital for treatment. The accused, identified as Sathyaraj of Velachery, was nabbed and handed over to the Egmore Government Railway Police (GRP).
