New Delhi : A 29-year-old man tried to defy the lockdown in the national capital, went on a stroll on the streets of the national capital. 

The man was driving his car in northwest Delhi on Monday when he was stopped at a police barricade.

His car was carrying a "Bharat Sarkar (Indian government)" and "Delhi Police" sticker on the front screen. As the cops stopped him, he started arguing with them and claimed that he is an IAS officer who is out on official duty.

Initially, the policemen were shocked to learn his claims and when they grilled the man further, the real picture was out.

He was asked to show his Identity card, but instead, he came up with a file mentioning Home Ministry on the cover. He claimed that he is an IAS officer of 2009 batch. He also listed out the names of several IAS officers. He was busted on further questioned by the police.

A case has been filed against the man and his car has also been seized by the cops.

Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation on Tuesday morning to announce the new measures and about plans of extension of lockdown in the national capital.
