Delhi weather today: Light rains, thunderstorm expected in national capital

New Delhi : The (Indian Meteorological Department) IMD has predicted light rains and showers in the national capital today (July 16); cloudy weather is likely to remain throughout the day.

The weather department also said that the maximum and minimum temperatures will be 37 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. 

On Friday, the national capital saw a warm and humid day with a maximum temperature reaching 38.5 degrees, three degrees more than the normal temperature.

According to the weather office, the humidity oscillated between 56 and 68 per cent throughout the day.
