New Delhi : Dr. K.A. Paul, globally renowned peace Ambassdor  and humanitarian, appeared before the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), exposing serious lapses in the police investigation into the mysterious and brutal death of Evangelist Pastor Praveen Pagadala. Presented 22 serious questions how this is a Murder but not an accident.

Addressing the court, Dr. Paul expressed his deep gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Justice Thakur ji and his associate judge for granting him an opportunity to present evidence and voice the anguish shared by millions across India and abroad. He pointed to the continued withholding of the post-mortem report even after 22 days, the delayed FIR registration, and the threats to the family and friends, raising strong concerns of a deliberate cover-up and violation of constitutional rights.

The Hon’ble High Court has directed the State Government, the Director General of Police (DGP), and other respondents to file their responses.

Dr. Paul questioned the silence and complicity of certain political and police officials and strongly condemned the circulation of unauthorized videos before the conclusion of the investigation, calling it a breach of law and an attempt to manipulate public perception. He argued that these actions violate Article 19 of the Indian Constitution and damage the integrity of the justice system.

Fresh from attending a major global peace summit in Europe, Dr. Paul stressed the growing international concern over this case. “US Senators, Members of Parliament, and leaders from the European Parliament are raising serious questions about the safety of religious minorities in India,” he said. “This issue is not just national — it’s global.”

Dr. Paul urged the court to transfer the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He assured the bench that he would present forensic, photographic, and documentary evidence proving that the incident was a murder, not an accident.

Dr. Paul Said, “This is not just about one man’s death, this is about justice, truth, and the constitutional rights of every Indian citizen, especially those from religious minority communities who continue to face targeted violence and systemic neglect.”

He called upon national leaders, civil society groups, media organizations, and international human rights watchdogs to closely follow this case and ensure accountability at all levels.
