Video: None came to rescue, auto driver records rape on mobile in broad daylight in Vizag
Vizag : A drunk man allegedly raped a woman in broad daylight in Vizag in Andhra Pradesh, with passersby ignoring the crime and not stopping to help the woman in crisis.
According to a report by CNN-News18 TV, the incident happened on Sunday (October 22) during afternoon on a busy road outside the railway quarters in Vizag.
A 20-year-old woman was raped by a man sitting under a tree on the road. A rickshaw driver recorded the whole incident in his mobile and informed the police.
Acting swiftly, the cops rushed to the spot and arrested the cukprit. The woman was sent to hospital for check up.
Women rights activists have slammed the incident and claimed that the auto driver could have also offered help instead of recording the whole act.
