ED probe Satyendar Jain: Arvind Kejriwal accuses PM Modi of targeting AAP in Delhi and Punjab
New Delhi : Enforcement Directorate conducted a raid on Delhi's health minister Satyendar Jain, his associates and found Rs 2.85 crores in cash along with 130 gold coins.
Six to seven places, including a jewellery shop, were raided by ED on Monday. This comes a week after Satyendar Jain was arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on May 30. He was sent to ED custody till June 9 by a Delhi High Court.
After ED's statement on the recovery made, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reacted to it and blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for targeting Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Punjab.
The probe has been conducted based upon a 2017 first information report filed against Satyendar Jain him by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
