Elon Musk fires Twitter top executives including Parag Agrawal

New Delhi : Elon Musk has officially taken control of the social media platform Twitter and soon after that he fired the top executives of the company, including Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and legal chief Vijaya Gadde.

The move comes one day before a deadline to complete his purchase of the platform.

Earlier, Elon Musk was seen strolling in the Twitter headquarters with a sink. He shared the video on Twitter and captioned it – "Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!"

Apart from this Elon Musk has also updated his bio on Twitter to ‘Chief Twit’ and changed his location to Twitter HQ.

He also took a moment and a post to clear the news surrounding his takeover of the company. He said, "Twitter cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences."

Some media reports claim that Twitter will also me heading for mass layoffs in the coming days.
