Exit polls predict victory for Congress in Haryana
New Delhi : After a run of 10 years by Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana, it is likely that Congress will be making a return to the state. The voting for Assembly Elections in Haryana concluded on October 5, 2024.
According to India Today-CVoter exit poll results released on Saturday, Congress is likely to secure 44 per cent vote share, up by 16 per cent from 2019. In terms of seats, 56-58 seats can come for the party out of 90 seats in the state. It must be noted that ruling party BJP has been projected to get just 20-25 seats while other parties may fetch remaining 10-15 seats.
The Exit polls have also predicted that Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party is not likely to open its account in Haryana despite having its dominance in the neighbouring Delhi.
The counting of votes will be done October 8, 2024.
