Explosive found in UP Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath calls for meeting

Lucknow : Suspicious white powder claimed to be explosive, has been found during the ongoing session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for an high-level meeting. UP Assembly Speaker, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Home ) and senior officials of the police department are likely to attend the meeting.

The found white powder has been sent to a forensic lab which has corroborated its nature. A news report mentioned that it is PETN - a powerful explosive. Meanwhile, security officials, including an anti-explosive team, have also reached the Assembly to investigate.

PETN has no smell so it is difficult to detect the explosive.Even, a metal detector cannot sense the explosive.
