Farm Laws Repeal Bill to be introduced in Lok Sabha on Monday

New Delhi : The Farm Laws Repeal Bill, 2021 has been listed to be introduced in Lok Sabha on Monday (November 29).

On Wednesday, the Union Cabinet had approved the draft bill to cancel the three controversial farm laws on which farmers were protesting for more than a year.

On Gurpurab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that a bill will be introduced during the winter parliament session to cancel the laws; he had requested the farmers to end their agitation and return home.

The BJP on Thursday issued whip to its Rajya Sabha MPs to be present in the house on Monday. The Congress too issued a whip on Friday to its MPs asking them to be present in both the Houses of the Parliament on November 29.

The winter session of the Parliament is scheduled to conclude on December 23.
