New Delhi : The Central government has invited farmers protesting at Delhi borders to hold talks with them on Wednesday at 2 pm.

The Centre claims that they are committed towards the welfare of farmers and are ready to clear all the doubts related the new Farm bill.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today said the new farm laws have received widespread acceptance across the country and expressed hope of a resolution to the farmers' protest that has been raging outside the borders of the national capital for more than a month.

He said that some people are trying to mislead the farmers and unions; they are trying to spread rumours about the law and ignite rage and fear among the innocent hard-working farmers.

The farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders for more than a month now and demanding rollback of the three new laws as they fear that the laws will end Mandis and their future.
