Forget Rs 442 for two bananas, a hotel charges Rs 1700 for two boiled eggs

Mumbai : A couple of days back we had shown you how a hotel had charged whopping Rs 442 for mere two bananas to actor Rahul Bose; and now a new report has emerged which claims that a four-star hotel has charged Rs 1700 for two boiled eggs.

A Twitter user Kartik Dhar posted an image of a bill that shows the hotel charged him Rs 1700 each for two boiled eggs and a Omlette. He tagged Rahul Bose in his post, captioning it, “Bhai Aandolan Karein (Shall we protest)?”

In Rahul Bose's case, the high court had fined JW Marriot with Rs 25,000.

The hotel is yet to issue an statement on the bill. “Is ande ke sath Sona bhi nikla hai kya (Did the hen hatch gold with the eggs)?” posted one user.

Another posted on Dhar’s tweet: “Chicken must be from very rich family...”
