New Delhi : Dera Sacha Sauda’s Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan inaugurated a new global skin bank in the Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital in Sirsa.

The skin bank has been established by the earnings generated from the movie “MSG 2  - The Messenger”. This is first of its kind skin bank in north India. Revered Saint inaugurated the hospital by joining the bifurcated ribbons.

During the opening ceremony, revered saint told that skin can be donated during the first 6 hours after death. The donated skin is very helpful during surgeries of patients who had accidents or got burnt by fire or acid. The skin bank can keep the skin safe for the future for up to five years.
 
MSG Global Skin Bank is equipped with state-of-the-art modern medical machines including an incubator, bio-safety cabinet, hot air oven, dermatome, skin graft mesher and cold room.

A dedicated ambulance will be available round-the-clock service for this skin bank. The skin bank will help in the treatment of a lot of burnt patients in Shah Satnam Ji Specialty hospital along with other hospitals across the country.

 While speaking with the media Revered Saint informed that the revenue of the “MSG 2 – The messenger” has been diverted to this skin clinic. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan said that the hospital is also planning to start research on DNA repair technology.

The treatment will be free for the patients in the skin bank.
