Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar tests positive for coronavirus

Faridabad : Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has become the latest politician to have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Mr Khattar announced the news on Twitter and asked all of his colleagues and associates to quarantine themselves who were in his contact over the last week.

"I was tested for Novel Corona Virus today. My test report has returned positive. I appeal to all colleagues and associates who came in my contact over the last week to get themselves tested. I request my close contacts to move into strict quarantine immediately," the CM tweeted.

The state assembly speaker and two BJP MLAs have also tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, said a media report.

"The assembly speaker and MLAs Aseem Goel and Ram Kumar have tested positive for coronavirus," health minister Anil Vij had told PTI.
