Haryana, Maharashtra Assembly Election Results to be announced today
New Delhi : All eyes are now set on Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Election 2019 as the results will be declared on Thursday (October 24). The required security arrangements have been done to ensure smooth and peaceful voting in both the states.
The counting of votes will start from 8AM and it is likely to conclude by 12 noon.
According to reports, heavy police deployment has been made at various counting centers across the states and the counting process will be carried out under CCTV surveillance. To ensure the transparency, the whole process will be video recorded.
More than 4000 candidates were in the fray for the 288 Assembly seats in Maharashtra and 90 constituencies in Haryana. While Mahrashtra saw a fierce battle between BJP-Sena, Congress-NCP combine, the 90 Vidhan Sabha seats in Haryana witnessed a neck and neck fight between BJP, Congress, INLD and Jannayak Janata Party leaders.
The Exit polls have predicted a clear win for the Bharatiya Janata Party, but will that be the case? We will get to know today.
