HDFC Vice President goes missing, abduction suspected
New Delhi : HDFC Bank vice president Siddharth Sanghvi has reportedly gone missing from his Mumbai office since 5th September. His car has been recovered from Kopar Khairane area with blood stains on the seats.
As per initial information, the cops are suspecting it as a case of abduction. However, no ransom call has been received yet in the case.
What happened?
The 39-year-old banker had left his office in Kamala Mills area at around 7:30 pm on Wednesday. Since then no information about his whereabouts has been traced.
His family members filed a police complaint after he did not reach home till late on Wednesday. A missing person complaint has been registered at the NM Joshi Marg Police Station in Central Mumbai.
During the investigation, the cops have recovered the car of the banker. "We have recovered the car of Sanghvi from Kopar Khairane and we are investigating this case from all possible angles. But at this stage, we are unable to speak anything concrete about his disappearance," said Ravindra Shisve, Additional CP, Central Zone.

“In an unfortunate incident, one of our executives has gone missing. All of us are praying for his well-being and safe return. The police are doing their best to locate him and we are cooperating with them fully,” a senior HDFC Bank executive told Moneycontrol.
