HRDS INDIA (New Delhi) Announce Urgent Nationwide Directive; Pledges Free Reconstruction of Homes in Border Areas Under Indian Army’s Guidance

New Delhi : In response to the escalating situation at the India- Pakistan border, HRDS INDIA (Headquarters: New Delhi), a leading humanitarian and tribal welfare organization, has issued an urgent nationwide directive mobilizing its workforce and pledging support to affected communities.

The organization’s Secretary, Mr. Ajikrishnan, announced the immediate cancellation of all employee leave, directing all employees to report back to their respective regional offices by May 12, 2025. Staff have been instructed to coordinate with their center in-charges and follow all directives issued by the Government of India.

Over the past 30 years, HRDS INDIA has directly benefitted more than 5 lakh families across India through its various humanitarian and development initiatives. The organization reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to serve the nation during this critical time.

“Our nation faces an extraordinary challenge. Every member of HRDS INDIA must stand ready, not just as employees, but as citizens devoted to our country’s wellbeing,” stated Mr. Ajikrishnan.

In light of reports of civilian homes being destroyed due to drone attacks and shelling in the border regions, HRDS INDIA has pledged to reconstruct all damaged homes in the affected border areas, entirely free of cost, under the guidance and directions of the Indian Army.

Project heads in these regions have been directed to immediately assess damages to homes built under HRDS INDIA’s flagship ‘Sadgraha’ housing project and extend the rebuilding initiative to other families impacted.

“For three decades, HRDS INDIA has worked to uplift marginalized communities. Now, more than ever, we must stand by those whose homes and lives have been shattered by conflict,” emphasized Mr. Ajikrishnan.

Additionally, HRDS INDIA’s voluntary blood donation teams are on 24/7 standby, ready to support injured civilians and soldiers as needed.

“This is more than an organizational duty, it’s a moral imperative,” Mr. Ajikrishnan said. “In this moment of adversity, our compassion and solidarity will define us.”

The organization extended full support to the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, commending his leadership, vision, and resolve to safeguard the nation’s peace and security.

HRDS INDIA emphasized that this fight is not just over borders, but a united stand against Islamic terror threatening peace and humanity. The organization calls upon all stakeholders, partners, and fellow citizens to join hands in supporting the nation’s efforts to aid those affected by this crisis.
