HRDS INDIA rejects malicious propaganda; reaffirms Independence, Transparency, And National Service Mandate

New Delhi : HRDS INDIA, a nationally recognized non-governmental organization with an established legacy of over three decades in humanitarian service since 1995, has issued a categorical and unequivocal rejection of a series of misleading and malicious social media campaigns aimed at tarnishing its reputation and distorting its mission.

In an official statement, the organization condemned the circulation of selectively edited videos that falsely portray its publications—particularly its annual planners and diaries—as instruments of government propaganda or misuse of public funds. HRDS INDIA has termed these allegations as baseless, defamatory, and deliberately orchestrated to mislead the public and undermine the credibility of its longstanding service to the nation.

Independent Organization with a Clear National Commitment

HRDS INDIA reaffirmed that it operates as a fully autonomous, non-political entity, with no affiliation to any political party or governmental control, while maintaining a principled respect for visionary national leadership.

The organization acknowledged its admiration for the transformative leadership and developmental vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, noting that the inclusion of his image in its publications is solely to highlight the initiatives and public welfare programmes of the Government of India, ensuring that citizens are informed of schemes to which they are rightfully entitled.

It categorically clarified that such representation does not imply political alignment, but reflects a responsible effort to disseminate awareness regarding national development programmes.

No Public Funds Utilised

Addressing the core allegation, HRDS INDIA firmly stated that no taxpayer money is utilised in the production of its diaries, planners, or any communication material.

All such initiatives are funded exclusively through voluntary contributions and international philanthropic support, including donations facilitated by the President of HRDS INDIA, Srimath Swami Atmanambi, through global ashram networks, including those based in Brazil.

The organization emphasized that attempts to falsely attribute these activities to public expenditure constitute a serious act of misinformation and reputational harm.

Ground-Level Impact and National Service

HRDS INDIA continues to implement large-scale humanitarian programmes across India, focusing on tribal welfare, rural development, and housing for the homeless.

Among its key national engagements, the organization is an official partner in “Operation Sindoor”, a rehabilitation initiative dedicated to constructing houses for war-affected families in Jammu & Kashmir. Additionally, HRDS INDIA is actively involved in developing climate- resilient housing solutions for marginalized communities across multiple states.

Clarification on Publications and Social Responsibility

The organization clarified that its annual diaries and planners are part of a broader social awareness initiative, designed to bridge the information gap between government welfare schemes and eligible beneficiaries.

As the Prime Minister represents the executive leadership of the nation, the inclusion of his image in such publications is contextually appropriate and informational in nature, aimed at reinforcing awareness of national programmes—not political endorsement.

Founder’s Statement

In a strong and principled statement, Aji Krishnan, Founder & Secretary of HRDS INDIA, asserted:

Service to humanity is the highest form of nation-building. Our mission stands above politics, rooted in truth, compassion, and accountability. Any attempt to distort this mission is not merely an attack on our organization, but on the very spirit of selfless service that defines our work.

“Nation First, Humanity Always — Service Beyond Boundaries, Truth Beyond Influence.”

— Founder Secretary, HRDS INDIA

Call for Public Vigilance and Media Responsibility

HRDS INDIA has urged citizens, media organizations, and digital platforms to exercise due diligence and responsible verification before disseminating unverified or misleading content.

The organization warned that the deliberate spread of false narratives constitutes defamation and public misinformation, and affirmed that it reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies against individuals or entities involved in such activities.

Reaffirmation of Core Values

Reiterating its commitment, HRDS INDIA underscored its foundational principles of; Transparency and Accountability, Non-Partisanship and Institutional Independence, Humanitarian Service and Inclusive Development, Truthful Communication and Ethical Responsibility.

HRDS INDIA stands resolute in its mission to uplift the marginalized and contribute to national development through ethical, transparent, and independent operations. It has called upon all stakeholders to reject misinformation and support genuine efforts aimed at societal transformation.
