Hunt for UP gangster Vikas Dubey intensifies after he is spotted in Faridabad

Faridabad : Three people close to gangster Vikas Dubey who may be involved in the attack on policemen have been arrested by the police officials.

Interestingly, in a joint operation by Haryana Police and UP Police, the team got hold of a CCTV footage in which Vikas Dubey can be seen trying to book a room in a hotel in Faridabad.

Meanwhile, the bounty on his head has been raised to Rs 5 lakhs.

"Three persons close to Vikas Dubey arrested from Faridabad. They were identified as Ankur, Shravan and Kartikey alias Prabhat," a senior official told PTI.

Eight policemen were ambushed in Bikru village in Chaubeypur area of Kanpur when they were going to arrest Dubey and fell to bullets fired from rooftops shortly after midnight on Friday.
