Delhi: Woman shot dead in front of 1-year-old son, husband

New Delhi : A woman travelling with her husband and 1-year-old son was shot dead by armed men in Shialimar Bagh area of the national capital on Wednesday early morning.

In the incident, her husband and son managed to escape unhurt; but the lady took two shots and died.

The family was returning home from a visit to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in their Ritz car when assailants overtook their car and forced them to stop.

As they stopped, a man whipped out his pistol and started firing on the couple.

The husband, Pankaj Mehra, owns a pub in Paharganj. He has told cops that he ducked for cover after seeing armed amen approaching them.

FIR has been registered in the case and cops are looking for the culprit men.
