New Delhi : From past couple of days, the weather in Delhi NCR and nearby areas has been pleasant and enjoyable for the people. The good news is that the Weather Department has said that it is going to remain the same with light to moderate rainfall till April 5.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that more rains, accompanied with thunderstorms, are likely in the northern states of India.

On Monday, Delhi can experience wind of up to 40 kilo metres per hour with light rainfall and cloudy skies. The rainfall in the North Indian region is due to the western difference affecting Jammu and Kashmir from April 3 to April 6th.

Delhi’s maximum temperature on Sunday settled at 30.3 degrees Celsius, which is three notches below the season’s average for this time of the year, the weather department said.

"During the 2023 hot weather season (April to June), most parts of the country are expected to experience above-normal maximum temperatures, except for south peninsular India and some parts of northwest India where normal to below-normal maximum temperatures are likely," the IMD said.
