Indian Army foils Pakistan's infiltration bid along LoC

New Delhi : Indian Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid by a Pakistani troop along LoC in Naugam Sector, reports ANI on Monday.

Army officials mentioned that the intruders tried to pass through thick jungle along LoC amid cover fire by the Pakistani Army.

According to the Army, the intruders were wearing combat dresses like Pakistani regulars and were carrying a cache of warlike items with Pakistani markings. Some were also seen in Border Security Force (BSF) and old pattern IA dresses.

From the material recovered from them, it is clear that they were planning a massive attack on the Indian Army.

The Indian Army officials said, “We will ask Pakistan to take back the mortal remains of deceased likely Pakistani soldiers since Pakistan did provide full covering fire support to these intruders.”

Earlier in the month of October this year, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh blamed Pakistan for the continuous terror incidents in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and said that the country has continuously been “promoting terrorism and sending terrorists in India”.
