New Delhi : The Indian Navy has successfully test-fired its long-range advanced Brahmos missile. Revealing about it on Twitter, the navy claimed that it struck its target with precision.

"Long-range precision strike capability of an advanced version of BrahMos missile successfully validated. Pinpoint destruction of target demonstrated combat and mission readiness of frontline platforms. Yet another shot in the arm for Aatmanirbhar Bharat," the Navy tweeted.

To ensure the precision strike, the Army keeps on testing the missile under different situations. Last year, in November, the missile was tested on ground target. In December same year, it was tested from air.

Brahmos is considered as the world's most lethal missile.
