India's total coronavirus vaccinations cross 176.47 crore mark

New Delhi : India has been swiftly vaccinating its citizens to ensure protection against the coronavirus which had once stopped the nation's growth. As per official data, 176.47 crore vaccinations have been done till Wednesday (February 23, 2022).

"With the administration of has crossed 176.47 Crore (1,76,47,86,112) today. More than 26 lakh (26,88,373) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today," the release by the Health Ministry stated.

Recently, the government had announced precautionary dose for frontline health workers and old age people who had received their second dose at least nine months back.

41,10,185 precautionary doses have been administered till date.
