Jammu and Kashmir: Two militants killed in encounter in Anantnag

Anantnag : Two militants have been killed in an ongoing fight between security forces and terrorists in Halkan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The operation was launched after receiving information about the presence of militants in the region.

According to news reports, as the security forces approached the suspected site, the militants started firing on them. In retaliatory firing, two militants have been killed.

At the time when this report was being filed, start of second gunfight was reported from the region.
