Kanpur Encounter: Prime accused Vikas Dubey arrested in Ujjain

Kanpur : Main accused of Kanpur Encounter Vikas Dubey, who had a bounty of Rs 5 lakhs on his head, has been arrested from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

Vikas Dubey was nabbed in MP at the same time when his two close aides were killed in UP in separate police encounters.

His closest aide, Aman Dubey, was killed yesterday.

Eight policemen were killed on Friday when they went in a large team to Bikru village in Chaubeypur area of Kanpur to arrest Vikas Dubey.

Vikas, who has been charges with 60 criminal offences including kidnapping, killing and extortion, had planned a massacre after he received information that the police is coming to get him in Kanpur.
