Kerala man racially abused in Australia; security of Indians questioned again
Sydney : With yet another attack on Indian men with in a time span of less than a week, serious concerns over safety of Indians residing there.
A 33-year-old Kerala man, identified as Li Max Joy, became a victim of the alleged racial attack. According to a news report, he was assaulted by an Australian group in the early hours on Saturday.
The cops also added fuel to the controversy as the local police did their best to discourage him from pursuing with a police case, said a TOI report.
However, Mr Joy has not lost hope and believes that Australian law will bring him justice.
"I will stand till my last breath to make sure they will be punished under the Australian law," Joy told Times of India.
Li Max Joy is pursuing a nursing course in Australia and works as a part-time taxi driver to earn his living.
