Lockdown 4.0 to be completely different, details before May 18
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that lockdown 4.0 will be completely different and details about it will be shared before May 18.
“Scientists say that coronavirus will be a part of our lives for a very long time. But we can’t let our lives remain confined around coronavirus. We will wear masks and maintain social distancing but we will not let it affect us. So lockdown 4 will be in a new form with new rules”, said the Prime Minister.
“Based on the suggestions by states, information related to lockdown 4 will be given to you before 18 May. We will fight coronavirus and we will move forward”, he added.
Besides this, PM Modi urged people of India to use home made products and transform them into a brand. He also announced Rs 2 lakh crore economic package for the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan’.
“I announce a special economic package today. This will play an important role in the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’. The announcements made by the govt over COVID, decisions of RBI and today’s package totals to Rs 20 Lakh Crores. This is 10% of India’s GDP. This package is for the farmers, for our middle class who honestly pay taxes and our industry who are determined to take India to heights”, PM stated.
