Madhya Pradesh government in crisis: Scindia, 19 Congress MLAs resign
Bhopal : Congress party has expelled Jyotraiditya Scindia as its leader for "anti-party activities". Meanwhile, he claimed that he has resigned from the primary membership of Congress.
This comes after he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi with BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Congress president has approved his expulsion from the Indian National Congress with immediate effects.
The resignation letter of Mr Scindia, dated March 9, 2020, and addressed to party president Sonia Gandhi, stated: "this was a path that has been drawing itself out over the last year."

Along with him, 19 other Congress MLAs have also submitted their resignations, leaving the ruling Congress party government in Madhya Pradesh in deep crisis.
