Man strips off mid-air on Air India flight, walks Aisle naked

New Delhi : A man on Saturday stripped off mid-air and took a walk on Aisle of Air India plane, leaving 150 passengers on Lucknow-bound flight horrified.

Reacting quickly, Air India staff on the flight covered him with a blanket while two of them held him seated till the landing of the flight. The man was later handed over to the security person on the airport.

“As per the direction of the captain of the flight, the passenger was handed over to airlines security at Lucknow airport where investigation is underway,” Air India Express spokesman told ANI.

Earlier, a passenger had held an attendant hostage on a Beijing-bound China flight with a fountain pen as a weapon.

The flight had taken off from the city of Changsha in Hunan province at 8.40 AM and was scheduled to reach Beijing at 11 AM. However, due to an unspecified “illegal interference”, as authorities described it, the Flight 1350 had to be diverted to Zhengzhou city. It landed there at 10 AM and all the passengers and crew members are safe.
