Mild tremor in Delhi-NCR, epicentre in Nepal

New Delhi : The tremors have been recently rocking Turkey and Syria, more than 30,000 people have lost their lives in the tragic natural disaster. On Wednesday afternoon, Delhi-NCR also experienced mild tremors as 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal.

According to reports, the epicentre of the earthquake was found 69 kilometres from Jumla in Nepal. According to National Centre of Seismology, the depth of quake was about 10 kilometres and occurred at around 1:30 PM.

The earthquake in Delhi was so mild that even some people did not feel it. There are no reports for loss of life or property in the Delhi NCR region yet.

Recently, 7.4 magnitude earthquake had struck Turkey and Syria. Nations across the world have been trying to improve the situation in Turkey by sending help and rescue teams. India was among the First Nations who had sent the help and rescuers to Turkey.
