New Punjab CM Channi stops car to congratulate newly married couple

Punjab : A week after getting appointed as the 16th Chief Minister of Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi showed his love for the people as he stopped his vehicle to wish happy life to a newly married couple. The video of his surprise stopover has now gone viral on the social media.

The video was shared by the Punjab government’s Twitter handle with a caption that read, “During his visit to Bathinda today, Chief Minister @CHARANJITCHANNI spotted a newly married couple at village Mandi Kalan and suddenly stopped his vehicle to convey his best wishes.”

In the viral video, CM can be seen hugging the man and also giving shagun to his wife after stepping out from the vehicle.
