No break for Muslim employees during Ramzan: Delhi Jal Board
New Delhi : Delhi Jal Board on Wednesday withdrawn their recently issued order of short leave for their Muslim employees.
Earlier, it was notified that the Muslim employees will be allowed a short leave of 2 hours daily during Ramzan; now a new circular has been issued that scrapped the earlier notification.
During Ramzaan month Muslims observe roza or fast from dawn to dusk and only have food at dusk which is also known as Iftaar.
Meanwhile, South Delhi Mayor Mukesh Suryan has imposed a ban on the sale of meat till Monday due to Hindu festival Navratri.
