"No conditions. When Can I visit Jammu and Kashmir?" Rahul Gandhi asks governor
New Delhi : A day after Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik withdrew his invitation to Rahul Gandhi to visit Jammu and Kashmir before making any statement about violence in the state, former Congress chief took a U-turn and asked him for the date he can visit.
In his post on Wednesday morning, Rahul Gandhi referred Malik as Maalik (Master), accepting his previous invitation.
"Dear Maalik ji, I saw your feeble reply to my tweet. I accept your invitation to visit Jammu & Kashmir and meet the people, with no conditions attached. When can I come?" Rahul Gandhi tweeted this morning.

I saw your feeble reply to my tweet.
I accept your invitation to visit Jammu & Kashmir and meet the people, with no conditions attached.
When can I come?
The fight of words started between Rahul Gandhi and the Governor over former's comments alleging violence in the state after Centre's decision to end special status to J&K and bifurcate it into two Union Territories.
"I have invited Rahul Gandhi to come here. I will send you a plane, to observe (the situation) and then speak up. You are a responsible person and you should not speak like this," Mr Malik said on Monday.
Rahul Gandhi, responding to the "invite" on Twitter, wrote: "We won't need an aircraft but please ensure us the freedom to travel and meet the people, mainstream leaders and our soldiers stationed over there."

A delegation of opposition leaders & I will take you up on your gracious invitation to visit J&K and Ladakh.
We won’t need an aircraft but please ensure us the freedom to travel & meet the people, mainstream leaders and our soldiers stationed over there. https://t.co/9VjQUmgu8u
