'No one is responsible': Pallavi Vikasmey's last text to parents

Mumbai : Pallavi Vikasmey, daughter of ICAI President, had sent 'no one is responsible' text to her parents before her mobile phone was switched off, the Mumbai Police said.

“The parents told us that Vikamsey had sent them the message ‘no one is responsible’ before her phone was switched off,” The Hindustan Times quoted Sukhlal Varpe, senior inspector of MRA Marg police station as saying.

21-year-old Pallavi was found dead on the railway tracks of Mumbai under mysterious circumstances. The latest information about message hints it to be a case of suicide.

Pallavi, who recently completed her law studies, was last seen boarding a train from platform no. 5 at Mumbai’s CSMT station.

“It is not clear whether Vikamsey fell from the running train on the opposite tracks or whether she jumped off in front of an oncoming train,” said Nitin Bbade, senior police inspector of Dadar GRP.

The investigations in the case are underway.
